Reporting to the Commercial Manager and a dotted line into the site leadership team, you will form part of a close-knit finance team who support site based operations. You will contribute to improved business performance and earnings growth through provision of timely and accurate management accounting information and advice that supports both Moranbah site operations and the wider APAC business unit.
This opportunity is being offered as either a temporary assignment option if situated in Brisbane or a permanent opportunity for the right candidate who would be prepared to be positioned in Moranbah permanently.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial reporting on a monthly basis relating to site based operations
- Leading and managing the sites annual budget process and preparation of analysis packs for presentation to site management team and relevant stakeholders
- Identify and report on operational variances via analysis
- Analyse data and prepare meaningful commercial reports to operations management
- Provide financial & performance reporting including KPI dashboards
- Liaise, influence and provide advice to the broader group stakeholders regarding continuous improvement measures that will assist with decision making processes
Skills and Experience
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant finance experience within a large, multiple business unit environment
- High level analysis and excel abilities required
