Our Client an Australian owned technology solutions provider based in the Brisbane area. They are an industry leading reseller of leading global technology brands, delivering equipment and solutions into the Australian market across key industries. 

The Role
We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Brisbane office. This role is designed for a high-energy sales professional who thrives in a proactive, phone-based environment. You will manage and grow a large portfolio of existing accounts, re-engaging dormant customers, generating new opportunities, and creating momentum in under-serviced segments - particularly in high-growth areas such as renewable energy and energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with existing accounts via outbound calls, digital outreach, and campaigns to identify new opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to inbound sales enquiries, quoting and securing orders.
  • Re-activate dormant accounts, build relationships, and generate repeat business.
  • Educate customers on new products, pricing, and energy storage/renewable technology solutions.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and customer records in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal Customer Support, Customer Care, Marketing, and Admin teams.
  • Bring energy, drive, and accountability to the broader sales team culture.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in inside sales, outbound sales, or customer sales roles.
  • Strong phone presence and ability to influence and build trust quickly.
  • Self-starter with the drive to re-engage inactive accounts and generate new leads.
  • Ability to juggle proactive outreach with reactive inbound sales.
  • Resilient, energetic, and motivated to exceed targets.
  • Salesforce CRM experience desirable.
  • Background in technology or related industries is beneficial, but not essential.
