As such, we are presently seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager with a proven track record of creating and implementing analytical reporting tools with the purpose of providing commercial insights to the Managing Director or CEO.
About the role:
Working closely and providing direct support to the MD, we are seeking an experienced commercial finance professional to underpin the continuous achievement of the company’s strategic goals. Supported by an existing finance team, you will be hands on with analysis, feasibility, 5 year planning and commercial reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing a set of analytical reporting tools to support the commercial decision making process
- Utilising data-driven insights to drive financial performance, identifying and addressing opportunities and risks that impact business profitability.
- Assisting the leadership team in conducting pricing and margin reviews, aiming to enhance the profit margin.
- Creating diverse reports and tools that facilitate informed decision-making and improve the efficiency of existing processes for business management.
- Performing evaluations of capital investments for proposed product lines and upgrades to existing product offerings, presenting them to the Executive Team for approval.
- Carrying out various ad-hoc commercial reviews to support the business's growth ambitions.
- Tertiary education in Accounting or Business
- CA or CPA qualified
- ERP system experience, Advanced Excel, and financial modelling knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills to partner at a senior level
