The Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this newly created Corporate Accountant role will play a critical part in elevating financial reporting accuracy, strengthening governance frameworks and enhancing process efficiencies across the business. This is a hands-on role with exposure to group consolidation, compliance, systems improvement and project work — ideal for someone looking to step up and grow with the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments and accruals
  • Manage intercompany billing and loan reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and process depreciation
  • Support continuous improvement of month-end close processes and reporting timelines
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis
  • Prepare consolidation data packs and statutory accounts in line with IFRS / AASB 16
  • Act as day-to-day lead for external audits across multiple entities
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
  • Prepare BAS/PAYG lodgements and assist with income tax returns
  • Provide contingency support for transactional functions such as payroll and cash management
  • Support the implementation of automation and digital reporting tools
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and cost efficiencies
The Candidate
  • CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • 3–6 years’ experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting or audit
  • Exposure to group consolidations and multi-entity environments
  • Strong systems mindset with experience in large ERP and reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • Proactive, detail-focused and process-oriented
  • Comfortable managing deadlines while driving improvement initiatives
