The main areas of responsibility for the Financial Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Code inventory supplier invoices against purchase orders daily, run the weekly payment file and investigate Material purchase price variances.
- Process the WIP clearing for all completed production orders, investigate variances and ensure that Intercompany eliminations of cost has occurred.
- Review of Actual costs vs Standard costing and provide commentary on the movements.
- Complete Month-end related tasks in a timely manner, specifically journals.
- Partner with Supply Chain and other key stakeholders.
- Monthly Stock reconciliations and co-ordination of stocktakes and cycle counts.
- Identify gaps within existing business controls and recommend the best way to minimise key risks.
To be succesful in your application, you will be CPA/CA qualified. You will have experience in FMCG/Manufacturing environments with active stakeholder engagement. You will posses strong communication, with proven ability to adhere to deadlines and work effectively in a team.
