The Position Overview:
As the Data and Integration Team Leader, you'll oversee system integration and manage a team responsible for data integration systems. We're looking for someone with strong leadership skills, proficiency in programming languages, APIs, ERP systems, data management, and analytics.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Implement data management processes, ensure data quality, and plan storage and sharing.
  • Data Modelling: Set standards and manage data requirements and models.
  • Database Design: Provide expertise in database and data warehouse architecture.
  • Business Intelligence: Expertise in Business Intelligence systems.
  • Integration Management: Provide guidance on enterprise integration platforms.
  • Specialist Advice: Maintain expert-level knowledge and provide advice in your area of expertise.
  • Solution Architecture: Lead the development of solution architectures.
  • Information Security: Communicate information security risks and respond to breaches.
  • Capacity Management: Manage capacity and resource planning.
  • Systems Design: Design and review systems, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are balanced.
  • Consultancy: Provide expert advice and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Manage innovation processes and encourage creative ideas.
  • Emerging Technology Monitoring: Monitor emerging technologies' impact and opportunities.
  • Demand Management: Implement demand management activities.
  • Performance Management: Manage and mentor teams, set targets, and monitor progress.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in business or IT.
  • At least 3 years of data/integration management experience.
  • Knowledge of data integration, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with programming languages and APIs.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools.
  • Strong data management practices knowledge.
  • Business analytics skills.
  • ITIL certification or relevant experience.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Qualification in development, design, or information systems.
  • Local government ICT experience.
