We’re partnering with a well established organisation to find an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (Level 1 & 2) to join a growing internal IT team. This is a hands-on role supporting a diverse user base across corporate, warehouse and manufacturing environments, offering strong exposure to both on-site and remote support.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality Level 1 and 2 support, ensuring users are supported efficiently and professionally across hardware, software and network-related issues.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing Level 1 & 2 helpdesk support both onsite and remotely
  • Managing incidents and service requests via Jira Service Management
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining end-user hardware and applications
  • Supporting user onboarding, access management and device setup
  • Troubleshooting issues across Windows, Microsoft 365, networking and peripherals
  • Escalating complex issues to third-level support where required
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and asset registers
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and IT best practice
  • Delivering ad-hoc user training and promoting self-service where appropriate
We’re looking for someone with:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Level 1 & 2 desktop or IT support role
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments (Windows, M365, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Windows Server and endpoint management tools
  • Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, patching, connectivity)
  • Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and peripherals
  • Exposure to SCCM/MECM, Endpoint Manager and security tooling
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
Highly regarded but not essential:
  • Experience supporting warehouse or manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to backup solutions (e.g. Veeam)
  • VoIP or SD-WAN experience
