The Role
As an ER Specialist, you will support line managers on escalated employee relations matters, taking ownership of investigations and providing clear, commercially sound advice across a range of workplace issues.
Key areas of focus include:
- Managing end-to-end investigations into workplace grievances
- Coaching and guiding leaders through investigation processes and complex ER matters
- Making quick decisions to provide timely and accurate advisory support
- Supporting responses to external bodies, including Fair Work Ombudsman matters
- Delivering training and upskilling initiatives to build leader capability across workplace relations
- Navigating sensitive or unsubstantiated matters with a balanced, risk-aware approach
You will be an experienced HR or ER professional who is comfortable managing complexity and engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated experience in workplace investigations and ER case management (performance, conduct, and grievances)
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and ability to apply this in a practical, commercial way
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent matters while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and coach leaders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environment - backgrounds in retail, FMCG or hospitality well-received.
