This role sits at the senior end of the team, focused on managing high-risk, complex employee relations matters and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

This is a role suited to a seasoned ER professional who thrives on complexity, can navigate ambiguity, and brings a strong balance of technical expertise and commercial judgement.

The Role
As a Senior ER Specialist, you will take ownership of the most complex and sensitive workplace matters, providing strategic advice and leading end-to-end case management across a broad portfolio.

Key areas of focus include:

• Managing high-risk, complex ER cases end-to-end, including serious misconduct, discrimination, bullying, and termination matters
• Leading legally robust workplace investigations and providing clear, defensible recommendations
• Preparing for and supporting tribunal matters, including Fair Work Commission proceedings and conciliations
• Providing expert advice on enterprise agreements, awards, and employment legislation
• Partnering with senior leaders to navigate risk, influence outcomes, and drive best practice

About You
You will be a highly experienced ER professional with deep technical capability and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor at a senior level.

• Extensive experience managing complex ER cases and workplace investigations
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, industrial instruments, and employment legislation
• Experience supporting or leading tribunal matters highly regarded
• Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
• Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
• Background in retail, FMCG or hospitality well-regarded
