ER Specialist Full-time | National Organisation
A major national organisation is seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) specialist to join its Advisory Services team. About the Role

You'll provide high‑quality ER advice on escalated matters and support leaders to manage risk and make informed decisions. You’ll also conduct investigations and represent the organisation in early‑stage tribunal matters.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, stakeholder engagement and applying sound judgement to sensitive issues.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate ER advice on issues.
  • Conduct end‑to‑end investigations and prepare clear, comprehensive reports.
  • Represent the organisation at conciliations, conferences and early‑stage tribunal matters.
  • Support leaders to proactively address ER issues and minimise risk.
  • Negotiate settlement arrangements and managed exits.
  • Build capability through coaching, education and facilitation of learning sessions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external bodies.
About You
You bring a strong mix of technical ER expertise, commercial judgement and communication skills. You’re confident navigating complex situations and influencing outcomes.
You will have:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Employee Relations / Workplace Relations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing performance, conduct and Equal Opportunity matters.
  • Strong capability in conducting investigations.
  • Experience supporting long‑term ill or injured workers.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and the ability to interpret and apply it.
  • Experience preparing and filing documentation for tribunals or commissions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Law or a related field.
