An exciting, ideally immediate start, role with a globally-recognisable, world-leading Medical Devices organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team! This Finance Business Partner position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially this will be a long-term 18 month fixed-term contract, however with the genuine view for permanency following this initial duration.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Support the periodic budgeting & forecasting processes
- Provides variance analysis and commentary to explain monthly results
- Build and maintains strong relationship with your key stakeholders; understanding their needs/expectations, knowing how and when to best engage with them from a strategic standpoint.
- Leverage your business / commercial understanding to generate insightful questions to provide stakeholders alternative perspectives and to further build credibility and trust.
- Assist in providing financial modelling and inputs necessary to support your stakeholders in making strategic business decisions.
- Provide timely & accurate information to enable key business decisions in a wider finance sense.
- Support the wider business to deliver continuous simplification, process improvements and automation to management reporting and associated systems and processes.
- Enhance communication of financial performance to non-financial stakeholders and drive efficiencies and automation of reporting
- Be involved in projects to improve processes or improve operational performance
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy collaboration and have had extensive experience within a large & complex working environment. Additionally, you will enjoy stakeholder management, overall team collabaration and have used Power BI extensively in your prior roles.
