Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Business Partner will provide financial and commercial support to the two divisions.
This is a genuine partnering role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders, including the CEO and Chief Marketing Officer, to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to business performance.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partnering with key stakeholders to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Delivering commercial insights to support major marketing campaigns and event initiatives.
- Acting as a trusted advisor — balancing financial rigour with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
- Supporting leadership with scenario modelling, business cases, and investment analysis.
- Identifying risks and opportunities and helping to shape strategic decisions.
- Supporting the transition to modern reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical ability, communication skills, and a collaborative approach. You’ll be comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and translating numbers into meaningful business insights.
Key skills and experience:
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in finance, ideally within commercial or complex environments.
- Strong accounting and financial analysis capability.
- Proven ability to build relationships and act as a trusted advisor to non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence constructively.
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau/Power BI) desirable.
- Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 + Superannuation
