The Role
This Finance Business Partner role sits within the finance team, supporting and reporting into the CFO. You will provide commercial insight, financial analysis, and strategic advice to procurement leaders, helping them make informed decisions and drive value across the business.
You will be a key partner to senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence spend, shape strategy, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to procurement leaders, providing commercial and financial guidance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for procurement-related spend
- Analyse procurement costs, supplier performance, and savings initiatives
- Support business cases, investment decisions, and supplier negotiations with robust financial insight
- Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards on key procurement metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls
- Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and drive business performance
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role
- Experience with Dynamic 365 is a must
- Exposure to procurement, supply chain, or large cost-base environments highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Commercially minded with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with complex datasets
- Confident operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
