We are looking for a proactive Finance Business Partner to support the Commercial Finance Manager in driving the financial performance of one of our business units. This role combines hands-on management accounting with commercial insight, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support decision-making across ANZ and international markets.
Your duties will include but not be limited to;
- Act as the financial partner to the business unit, providing insights and recommendations to support commercial decisions.
- Lead month-end reporting and P&L analysis, ensuring accurate and actionable information is delivered to management.
- Monitor and analyze key variances between actuals, budget, and forecasts, identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Drive trade, marketing, and distribution spend oversight, ensuring investments deliver the best return and stay within budget.
- Support sales performance reporting, including forward sales planning and tracking trends across channels.
- Maintain and optimize Salesforce and other commercial reporting tools to ensure timely, accurate insights.
- Collaborate with Marketing to track international campaigns and initiatives, linking activity to financial outcomes.
- Oversee online channel performance, reconciling revenue, volume, and profitability to support strategic decisions.
- Manage pricing and margin analysis, ensuring Oracle reflects accurate and up-to-date commercial pricing.
- Provide ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to guide key business initiatives and investment decisions.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be CA or CPA qualified with experience within FMCG, consumer products or retail. You will have strong systems and analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities and a natural business partner to the wider business.
