Our client is a well-established global manufacturing business with a strong ANZ presence. The organisation is currently enhancing its finance capability, investing in systems, reporting frameworks, and commercial decision support to drive improved performance visibility across the business.
You will join a collaborative finance team working closely with operational and commercial leaders, playing a key role in strengthening forecasting, reporting, and business partnering capability.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this newly created Finance Business Partner position will support a defined segment of the business, acting as the primary finance contact for senior stakeholders.
This is a two-pronged role combining strong technical management accounting foundations with genuine commercial business partnering. The environment is in a build phase, offering the opportunity to improve reporting structures, enhance forecasting processes, and drive greater financial transparency.
You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and support functions to translate financial data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
Management Accounting & Reporting
- Deliver timely month-end reporting and variance analysis
- Lead bottom-up budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor performance against forecast and provide actionable insights
- Own assigned balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
- Support year-end audit requirements
- Contribute to uplift of reporting quality and process improvement
- Act as the key finance partner for allocated business units
- Provide pricing and cost scenario modelling support
- Translate financial performance into commercial insights for stakeholders
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across sales and operations
- Leverage Excel and BI tools to enhance reporting and decision support
- Strong technical accounting foundation
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments highly regarded
- Commercial mindset with the ability to partner with operational stakeholders
- Comfortable in a hands-on, evolving finance environment
- Proactive, team-oriented, and improvement-focused
