About the role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will be to lead financial reporting and compliance while managing a small team with the day to day. This role requires excellent relationship management skills to work closely with your team and stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management team.
- Generate treasury, cash flow, taxation data to fulfill diverse reporting requirements.
- Contribute to enhancing financial information and processes, including reviewing allocations and the general ledger structure.
- Group reporting and consolidation.
- Preparation and management of budgets and forecasts.
- Statutory and compliance requirements; GST, PAYG, Payroll Tax & BAS.
- Management of external audit relationships
- Manage and oversight of the payables and receivable function ensuring accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA or CA qualification required.
- Preferred experience working in Big4 or Mid-Tier Audit
- Proven track record in building internal and external relationships.
- Demonstrated experience preferably within FMCG or Manufacturing industries.
- Extensive experience providing financial insight in a complex organisation.
- Strong communication skills for both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Long tenure of staff across the organisation, highlighting family feel culture.
- Partnering with senior leadership team and operational stakeholders.

- Salary commensurate with experience between $130 -140K + Super
