The Role
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing the consolidated financial position of the group, overseeing transactional finance, and leading compliance and reporting across the firm’s investment entities. This role requires both technical depth and commercial acumen, with exposure to complex investment structures, inter-entity transactions, and strategic decision-making support.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversight of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintenance of general ledgers, journals, and asset registers across group entities.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly board packs, management reporting, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax compliance including BAS, IAS, FBT, income tax workpapers, and liaising with external accountants.
  • Support for audit, governance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Assistance with investment transactions, settlements, and portfolio reporting.
  • Continuous review and improvement of financial systems, controls, and processes.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and hold (or be working toward) their CA/CPA. You will bring 4+ years’ experience in financial or management accounting, ideally with exposure to investment, funds, or professional services environments.
Key skills and experience:
  • Chartered (Big 4 or mid-tier) experience
  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge.
  • Exposure to inter-entity transactions, consolidations, and investment reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
