Role:
The role will report to the Financial Reporting Manager. The Financial Accountant will work effectively and collaboratively with the whole finance function and non-finance stakeholders.
Key themes of the role will be:
- Assisting with the preparation of general purpose statutory financial statements
- Actively involved in projects involving finance digital transformation
- General ledger maintenance, including the preparation of leading practice monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- ensuring ‘no surprises’
- Continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls
- Contribute to team culture and positive working relationships
- Assist with investment property valuations.
- Professional CPA / CA
- Ideally, Big 4 or Mid Tier background
- Effective organisation and time management skills
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task assignments and appropriately prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong commitment to team culture and performance
- High levels of energy and drive – Performance-based mindset, results-orientated
