The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your duties will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Handling month-end tasks such as balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Managing fixed assets
- Preparing and reviewing month-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Consolidating monthly, half-year, and year-end accounts, as well as reporting packs and cash flow forecasts
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process optimization
- Maintaining control analysis, offering commentary, and providing insights on consolidated profit and loss statements
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Reviewing and maintaining internal control systems
- Supporting external audits
- Assisting with and reviewing process improvements
Skills and Experience
- Strong technical acumen - owning month end, robust understanding of payroll and cashflow
- CA/CPA qualified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
