Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Oversee month-end close, audit preparation, statutory accounts, tax compliance, and treasury management.
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting aligned with regulatory and governance standards.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies to enhance tax compliance and governance practices.
- Lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Coordinate with international teams to maintain seamless financial operations.
- Support the implementation of a new ERP as part of a major transformation project.
- Provide expertise in financial modeling and statutory reporting.
- Drive enhancements in financial governance and controls to support turnaround efforts.
- Play a key role in M&A activities, including financial guidance, due diligence, and integration.
- Maintain accurate and current financial records through a hands-on approach to technical accounting.
- Address compliance milestones, improving governance practices to meet regulatory expectations.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in technical accounting, tax compliance, statutory accounts, and treasury functions.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring finance teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams, including international collaboration.
- CPA/CA qualified or equivalent.
- Experience in services industries preferred but open to other backgrounds.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations for a business of similar scale.
- Highly proactive and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial information to stakeholders.
