About the role
You’ll take the lead in managing new product development projects, delivering innovative and commercially viable products on time and within cost targets. From concept to launch, you’ll ensure all products meet regulatory, allergen, and food safety standards while collaborating with QA, production, and procurement teams for seamless scale-up into manufacturing.

Your role will also involve managing product set-ups, conducting trials, and providing technical support and documentation. You’ll drive sensory evaluations, present to customers, and stay ahead of market trends to continuously optimize formulations and processes for quality and efficiency.

Skills and experience
• Degree in Food Science.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on NPD experience within Food Manufacturing.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.
• Able to work 5 days on site in Southeast Melbourne.
• Hold full Australian work rights (no sponsorship available).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Experience working on multiple food development projects from start to commercialisation.
• A genuine passion for food, innovation and consumer-driven design.
• Access to a car is required for this role.
