Role:
As the Group - Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll play a critical role within a high-performing finance function that drives accuracy, compliance, and performance across the Group. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you’ll ensure the delivery of timely, compliant financial reporting and play a hands-on role in driving continuous improvement across accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group month-end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all entities
- Manage complex journals including intercompany consolidations, FX revaluations, and lease accounting
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and support statutory reporting requirements
- Prepare technical accounting papers and liaise with external auditors
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting in collaboration with FP&A
- Drive process and systems improvements across group accounting and reporting functions
- Act as a key contact for the offshore service delivery centre on accounting processes
- CA or CPA qualification
- 4+ years’ experience in public practice or a complex corporate environment
- Exposure to group accounting, consolidations, and statutory reporting
- Strong Excel and system skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement
