Sharp & Carter are proud to partner with New Balance in their search for a Head of eCommerce ANZ. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will have responsibility for the AU & NZ eCommerce teams and the eCommerce strategy for the region.

This is the ideal opportunity for a strong eCommerce expert looking to step up or an experienced Senior eCommerce Manager / Head of eCommerce seeking a more progressive and innovative working environment with a leading brand. You will be a strategic and technical member of the team who can develop and implement all digital activities to grow and enhance the company's online presence, digital footprint, improve user experience, engagement and site conversion.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the eCommerce strategy across the ANZ region.
  • Partner with retail to deliver omni-channel features to build brand experience
  • Monitor website, social and digital standards and enforce best practices;
  • Manage and mentor a small team to ensure various projects are delivered effectively, on-time and on-budget;
  • Analyse and provide insights around site traffic and other key eCommerce metrics with Google Analytics, dashboards and relevant business tools;

  • Manage Email Marketing strategies together with Marketing teams, including content, personalisation & segmentation strategy, re-engagement plans and driving the acquisition of new sign ups;
  • Lead website updates and initiatives to constantly improve the customer journey and tactics to increase conversion, reduce bounce rate and cart abandonment;
Key Skills Required
  • Previous experience in an eCommerce role, most favourably in a fast-paced retail environment;
  • Strong commercial focus to deliver sales results;
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce metrics and analytics data;
  • Experience with Google Analytics and proven ability to capture and collate data in a presentable and useful way;
  • Experience managing a team of specialists and mentoring and developing junior team members;
  • Ability to draw insights and make recommendations and implement changes to online store to maximise sales, conversion rate, average order value;
  • A positive, collaborative and solutions-focused attitude.
