The Role
Located directly in the Sydney CBD this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing shared services division spanning across accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury. The focus is on building capability, strengthening controls, enabling digital tools, and embedding best-practice processes and governance to improve overall business improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and establish the Shared Services function, creating a high-performing team
- Drive process improvement and financial system optimisation
- Champion automation and AI adoption to increase efficiency and quality
- Oversee delivery across the different SS functions (AP,AR & Treasury)
- Lead organisational change and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure strong financial governance, controls and compliance
You are a strategic and hands-on leader with a track record of delivering transformation and operational excellence in complex shared services environments.
You will bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in shared services leadership
- Strong capability in process redesign and stakeholder engagement
- Deep ERP/finance systems experience
- Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams
- Strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen and sound decision-making
- Experience in FMCG is an advantage
- Degree in Finance/Commerce (CA/CPA preferred)
