The Role
Working as a trusted advisor to managers, you will provide end-to-end support across a wide range of employee relations matters. Operating as a key tier of support, you will manage the majority of cases independently while escalating more complex or high-risk matters where required.
Key areas of focus include:
- Managing a high volume of ER cases across performance, conduct, and workplace concerns
- Providing clear, pragmatic advice to leaders in line with policies, enterprise agreements, and legislation
- Supporting end-to-end case management, including documentation and coaching leaders through processes and conversations
- Triaging and escalating more complex matters to specialist teams as appropriate
- Ensuring timely resolution of issues while balancing risk, compliance, and commercial outcomes
You will be a confident and proactive HR/ER professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience managing high-volume ER casework across performance, conduct, and investigations
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and workplace relations frameworks
- Ability to operate with pace, make sound decisions, and manage competing priorities
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and coach leaders
- Background in fast-paced, operational environments (e.g. retail, hospitality, or advisory firms) highly regarded
