Sharp & Carter is partnering with a global agricultural giant to appoint an experienced HR Manager in Wagga Wagga who will drive the HR strategy and play a key role in business partnering across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR generalist who is confident working with senior leadership, shaping HR programs, and aligning people strategy to broader business objectives.

The Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, the HR Manager plays a critical role in executing the HR strategy and acting as a trusted advisor across the business. You will partner closely with leaders to drive organisational effectiveness, uplift capability, and ensure HR policies and initiatives support long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR & Business Partnering
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational and commercial objectives.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of HR programs and initiatives.
Employee Relations & Performance
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering support on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide coaching and constructive feedback to enhance individual, team, and organisational performance.
Talent, Capability & Policy Development
  • Identify high‑potential talent and work with leaders to implement structured development plans.
  • Support long-term workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.
  • Partner with the compensation and benefits team to maintain competitive, fair, and market-aligned remuneration programs.
  • Analyse, communicate, and ensure compliance with corporate HR policies, local legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular HR audits to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
About You

You will bring:
  • 5–8 years' experience in a HR generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of local labour laws, regulations, and employment practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, workforce planning, and organisational development.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability with a data-driven approach.
