Sharp & Carter are proud to be partnering with a well-established and privately owned manufacturing group to appoint a HR Coordinator for an initial 6-month contract, supporting a busy and fast-paced HR function across NSW operations.

This nationally recognised industrial business operates across multiple sites and business units, with a diverse workforce spanning both blue- and white-collar employees. With continued growth, system implementation and upcoming industrial processes, the HR team is seeking additional support during a key operational period.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a hands-on and operationally focused role designed to provide capacity across the full HR lifecycle. You will work closely with experienced HR professionals in a practical, site-based environment, gaining valuable exposure across advisory, compliance and industrial relations processes.
This role is ideal for an ambitious HR Coordinator or Administrator looking to deepen their experience within a complex industrial setting.
 
Scope & Responsibilities

HR Operations & Advisory Support
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries across site
  • Provide administrative support across investigations and ER matters
  • Support compliance activities and documentation management
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist with recruitment coordination, phone screening and interview scheduling
  • Generate employment contracts and variations
  • Support onboarding and compliance processes
Projects & Industrial Exposure
  • Contribute to HR system implementation and administrative uplift
  • Gain exposure to upcoming EBA processes and negotiations 
  • Support broader HR initiatives during a busy transformation period
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a HR Coordinator or HR Administrator capacity
  • Exposure to blue-collar or industrial environments (highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence managing documentation
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support across varied HR matters
This role will suit someone who thrives in practical environments, enjoys variety and is eager to learn from an experienced and supportive HR team. Note this is a 5 days on-site role, starting as an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.
