About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and approachable HR Business Partner to join a progressive People & Culture team. Reporting to the Principal People Partner – Operations, you’ll provide both strategic and operational HR support to leaders and employees, driving performance, engagement, and culture while supporting the rollout of a modern HR service delivery model.
You’ll be the key HR presence on site, working closely with leadership to ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibility
- Act as the primary HR contact for leaders and employees, providing trusted advice across all people matters.
- Coach and develop leaders to build capability and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
- Manage employee relations, workforce planning, and organisational development initiatives.
- Support the implementation of a new HR service delivery model.
- Champion safety, wellbeing, and inclusion across the workforce.
- Partner on Indigenous employment initiatives and community engagement programs.
You’re an experienced HR generalist who thrives in operational settings and enjoys being visible and hands-on with your teams. You bring strong stakeholder management skills, a pragmatic approach, and the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
You’ll bring:
- Solid HR partnering experience, including employee relations and advisory work.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Background in mining, resources, or heavy industry (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
- Experience supporting Indigenous or remote workforces (highly regarded).
