Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior leaders, providing pragmatic, commercially aligned people advice
- Strengthen and embed HR foundations including policies, governance frameworks and employment terms & conditions
- Partner with leaders to uplift core management capability, delivering practical guidance across performance, conduct and people leadership
- Provide expert ER/IR advice, managing complex matters with confidence and sound judgement
- Translate HR and legislative requirements into clear, accessible language suited to a non-corporate workforce
- Coach and support junior managers to build confidence in leading teams and managing employee matters
- Contribute to workforce planning, organisational design and talent strategy initiatives
- Support change management and business transformation activities
- Drive continuous improvement across people processes, systems and compliance
- Champion a resilient, solutions-focused HR function within a fast-paced, evolving environment
You are a seasoned HR professional who thrives in complex, operational environments and brings strong industrial relations expertise across multiple awards.
You are confident providing practical advice and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, competing priorities and sensitive employee matters. You approach day-to-day through sound judgement, strong technical knowledge and the ability to translate legislation and policy into clear, accessible language for managers and frontline teams.
- Solid experience as a true HR generalist or HR Business Partner
- Strong working knowledge of modern awards, employment legislation and ER/IR frameworks
- Experience reviewing and strengthening policies, contracts and governance processes
- Confidence managing complex employee relations matters
- The ability to coach and uplift leaders in foundational people management capability
- Resilience, pragmatism and the maturity to operate in an environment that is evolving and building its foundations
