The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will operate as a business partner across operations, providing both operational and advisory support. With a strong presence on the ground, you will work closely with leaders, ensuring best-practice HR support aligned to business objectives.
You will play a key role in evolving the HR function, driving initiatives across engagement, performance, compliance, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR guidance
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across operational and corporate roles
- Drive performance management and employee development initiatives
- Provide expert advice on ER/IR matters, awards, and compliance
- Support organisational design and workforce planning as the business grows
- Manage the payroll process and related systems
- Champion culture, engagement, and leadership capability
- Review and enhance HR policies, systems, and processes
- Proven experience in a HR Generalist capacity
- Background in manufacturing, FMCG, construction, or blue-collar environments preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and Australian employment law
- Confident operating in a standalone capacity with direct access to senior leadership
- Commercially astute, pragmatic, and solutions-focused
- Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on
- Direct exposure to an engaged and supportive Managing Director
