An exciting opportunity exists for a seasoned HR Director to join a high-performing Retail/QSR business at a pivotal stage of growth.

With a footprint of 70 sites nationally and an ambitious plan to scale to 100 sites, this organisation is investing in its people strategy to support sustainable, profitable expansion. This role will sit on the senior leadership team, partnering closely with executive and operational leaders to uplift capability, structure and consistency across the business.

The Opportunity Reporting to the executive team, you will lead and evolve the HR function across a large, multi-site workforce. While the sites operate with a high level of independence, the support office is on a journey to become a more structured, scalable and commercially aligned corporate function. You will play a key role in shaping this next phase.
You will inherit an established and capable HR team, with the mandate to develop, refine and future-proof people frameworks that enable operational leaders to perform at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end people strategy across a complex, multi-site Retail/QSR environment
  • Partner with executive and senior operational leaders to support growth, performance and culture
  • Strengthen HR governance, frameworks and capability within the support office
  • Balance autonomy at site level with appropriate structure, consistency and compliance
  • Provide leadership across ER/IR, workforce planning, talent, performance and engagement
  • Build scalable people processes to support expansion from 70 to 100 sites
  • Coach and develop a high-performing HR team
About You
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within Retail, QSR, Hospitality or similarly fast-paced, multi-site environments
  • Demonstrated success supporting large, distributed workforces
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align people strategy to business growth
  • Pragmatic, influential and comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities
  • Experience maturing or evolving corporate HR functions while respecting operational realities
  • Confident engaging at executive level while remaining deeply connected to the frontline
