Reporting to the General Manager – People & Culture, this full-time role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives on variety, autonomy, and making a tangible difference.
You’ll provide strategic and operational HR leadership, with specialist responsibility for training and capability development, as well as remuneration and benefits. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to build workforce capability, support organisational performance, and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative, service-oriented culture.
- Design and implement learning and development programs, leadership initiatives, and succession planning strategies.
- Manage remuneration and benefits frameworks, including benchmarking, salary reviews, and compliance with Australian legislation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Manage complex employee relations matters and support performance management initiatives.
- Contribute to culture, engagement, and organisational change initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR data and reporting, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in HR business partnering or senior generalist roles, with expertise in learning & development and remuneration & benefits.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver practical HR solutions.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to a fast-moving business environment.
