Working closely with senior leadership, this role leads the HR function across all Australian operations, providing expert guidance, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, KPI development, performance reviews, benchmarking, grievance resolution, safety compliance, training, and company events.
- Implement HR initiatives aligned with organisational strategy.
- Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and WHS requirements.
- Maintain strong communication channels through newsletters, email updates, and monthly communication boards.
- Manage performance issues, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
- Strengthen and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Enhance the existing training and development framework.
- Maintain and optimise HR systems, employee records, policy updates, and change‑of‑conditions processes.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and workplace relations.
- Confident in advising senior leaders and management.
- Cultural awareness, particularly relating to Chinese business practices, is desirable.
- Self‑starter with strong ownership of responsibilities.
