Step into a newly created Human Resources Coordinator role within a highly regarded national law firm. Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will provide vital support across key people initiatives while shaping connection and culture across the firm.
This is a broad and fast-paced position, offering exposure to all facets of HR, from diversity and inclusion and learning programs to event coordination and employee engagement. You will work closely with senior leaders and an experienced HR team who value collaboration, curiosity, and initiative.
Key Duties Will Include:
- Coordinate diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and committee activities, including meetings, communications, and external engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for D&I enquiries, induction queries, and new starter support
- Manage administrative requirements for firm committees, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Plan and deliver major firm events such as the EOFY and Christmas parties, Law Dinner, and monthly staff gatherings
- Coordinate monthly awards, milestones, and recognition programs.
- Support graduate admission and practising certificate renewal processes
- Assist with learning sessions, including logistics, catering, and communications
- Contribute to HR projects spanning engagement, policy, performance, and HRIS reporting
- Minimum two years’ Human Resources experience within a corporate or professional services environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative, proactive, and eager to build a long-term HR career
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using HR systems
