This is an initial 6 month contract with the potential for an extension, based in the eastern suburbs of Victoria.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and Maintain IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and upkeep of server, storage, network, telephony, and other critical infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
- Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for systems, manage change requests, and participate in change activities
- Vendor and Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between technical staff, management, users, and vendors, addressing service requests and ensuring adherence to standards and security protocols
- Support and Testing: Conduct performance testing, manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans, handle backup and restore activities, and collaborate with the Cyber Security team to address vulnerabilities
- Proven IT Infrastructure experience, strong Powershell scripting skills, and working knowledge of IT Infrastructure integration, configuration, backup, and restore procedures
- Proficient in Windows, Active Directory, and managing Office 365, understanding of the Azure platform
- Ability to diagnose infrastructure issues and communicate these effectively to the organisation
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, adhere to tight schedules, using your solid understanding of ITIL framework and IT Change Management
