About the role
Reporting to the Head of Insights, this strategic and hands on role will take full ownership of the development and implementation of the wholes insights strategy. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions and strategies. 

As the Insights Manager, you will thrive on uncovering consumer insights and data to drive innovation and long-term brand growth. You will focus on improving our strength in business information, consumer understanding (attitudes, behaviour, shopper, and digital), and advanced analytics.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage qualitative and quantitative research projects, with agencies from objectives and brief, through method and design, stimulus, and fieldwork to debrief and implications
  • Communicate and present findings that reveal opportunities and risks to the business
  • Manage a variety of end-to-end research projects with autonomy
  • Develop strong consultative relationships with internal stakeholders to help achieve better consumer understanding.
  • Contribute to solving broader business problems and identifying opportunities
Skills and Experience
  • A proven track record in a similar role with FMCG experience
  • 5-8 years’ experience in FMCG Category, Consumer or Shopper
  • Ability to combine strong strategic thinking and analytical ability, thrives on using new knowledge and data to create meaningful and useful intelligence.
  • Intimate understanding of retail partners and their KPIs
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams to build, agree and execute shopper insights
  • Problem solving ability & commercial nous - capable of understanding the impact of decision making on the business.
  • Working knowledge of Neilson, AZTEC scan data, Homescan or Quantium
  • A pro-active, solutions focused personality who is positive, resilient and collaborative in nature.
