Installation Coordinator

Job title : Installation Coordinator
Location : Sydney
Job type : Contract or Temp
Salary : $38-40p/hr + Super
Contact name : Bella M
Job reference : 1696123
At Sharp & Carter, our Business Support team is partnering with a well-established organisation within the renewable energy sector to secure an experienced Installation Coordinator for an immediate start.

This is an urgent temporary requirement (approximately 1 month initially, with strong potential to extend or convert to permanent)

You’ll join a busy administration function supporting rebate lodgements and installation coordination. When a customer proceeds with a quote, you’ll coordinate the entire installation process from start to finish - ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

From booking installations for the sales team, organising subcontractors, arranging product deliveries and managing compliance documentation, through to customer communication and certificate submissions - you’ll own the job end-to-end.

It’s a fast-paced, phone-based coordination role. Think more along the lines of claims or case management rather than traditional administration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end installation and service jobs
  • Liaise directly with customers, particularly on more complex installations
  • Conduct outbound calls to subcontractors and technicians
  • Coordinate scheduling, pricing variations and required documentation
  • Process stock movements, invoices, credits and returns
  • Submit renewable certificates and manage compliance requirements
  • Act as the first escalation point for customer enquiries
  • Maintain detailed system notes and workflow processes
  • Ensure deliveries and installations are executed on time
You’ll report to the Administration Team Leader and work within a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Full-time in office. If converted to permanent, Friday WFH flexibility is available.

About You We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has strong administration and customer service experience
  • Is confident spending a large portion of their day on the phone
  • Has inbound and outbound call exposure (call centre experience highly regarded)
  • Has experience coordinating schedules, bookings or subcontractors
  • Is organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple moving parts
  • Enjoys taking ownership and seeing tasks through to completion
  • Immediate start
  • Potential temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Exposure to a growing, future-focused industry
