Position Overview: As a Junior Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement and coordination of our fleet vehicles during the night shift. Your duties will include monitoring routes, communicating with drivers, responding to emergencies, and optimising schedules to ensure timely deliveries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the logistics field while contributing to the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track the movement of fleet vehicles using GPS and fleet management software.
- Communicate with drivers to provide route instructions, updates, and assistance as needed.
- Respond promptly to any incidents, delays, or emergencies that arise during the night shift.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient operation of the fleet.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar industry is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work Sunday to Thursday, from 12:00 AM to 6:30 AM.
