About the role
This is a permanent role where you will be working under a highly respected CEO, playing an active role supporting internal teams by providing high level and strategic advice on commercial contracts, dealing with customer facing issues and much more. Diversity will be the central theme, but some of the key tasks this role entails are:
- Drafting, negotiating and assisting on industrial supply contracts with a range of customers (large to small);
- Assisting in responses to customer-driven tender processes, including identification of legal risks in customer’s proposed purchasing terms;
- Drafting, negotiating and assisting on a range of other contracts with agents and distributors and suppliers (including contracts for services, equipment purchases and transport sourcing).
About you
You could already be in private practice thinking about that “first move in house”, or a Legal Counsel seeking a step up and exposure to a global business. Either way we know you will have some great skills to bring to the table based on your commercial legal experience. This role will likely suit a Lawyer at the 2-5 year level with an unrestricted practice certificate.
Taking that next step can be a tough decision and we know you will have some questions about this exciting opportunity. For a full position description and confidential discussion please get in touch with Lee Ruddy on 0450363147.
