Sharp and Carter has partnered with a prominent law firm in the CBD to secure a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless office operations, supporting fee earners and billings, and contributing to the smooth running of important transactions.
- Arranging internal and external meetings, booking travel, and coordinating with clients and colleagues.
- Managing all aspects of the billing process, including preparing billing guides, liaising with fee earners, and ensuring timely client invoicing.
- Handling and processing expenses, managing claims, and overseeing the financial recording system.
- Drafting, amending, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
- Managing incoming documentation, scanning, filing, and maintaining the firm's document management system.
- Coordinating business development activities and maintaining accurate client contact information.
- Handling telephone calls, managing email inboxes, and ensuring efficient communication in the absence of team members.
- Proven 3-5 years experience as a Legal Secretary.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with an eye for detail.
- Proficient in document management, billing systems, and standard office software.
- Experience with Oracle or similar systems would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, fee earners, and external partners.
