Role Description:
An exciting opportunity is available within a leading logistics and infrastructure organisation to fill a crucial position in their finance team. This Management Accountant role will be responsible for the reporting, analysis, and insights within a leading division of the company
Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Financial Controller amongst a small team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Compiling monthly profit and loss statements for multiple sites.
- Conducting financial analysis of month-end results for each site.
- Responding to financial queries by collecting and interpreting data.
- Reviewing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Meeting reporting deadlines at the end of each month.
- Completing annual budgets.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Undertaking any other necessary adhoc duties.
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will have previous experience in a Big 4 audit firm or prior exposure to ASX listed reporting. You will demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proven ability to work under strict deadlines while managing multiple competing priorities.
