About the Role
Reporting to a senior executive, the National Facilities Manager will take ownership of facilities management across a geographically dispersed portfolio of clinical, laboratory and consulting environments.
- Leading and supporting state-based Facilities Managers
- Establishing national FM policies, procedures, standards and governance
- Rolling out and embedding an asset management framework
- Overseeing maintenance programs, compliance, fire safety and lifecycle planning
- Developing and managing contractor and supplier arrangements
- Providing governance and oversight of minor capital works and refurbishments
- Acting as a senior escalation point for facilities matters with state leadership
- Communicating facilities risks and priorities clearly to non-technical stakeholders
About you
- Experience leading facilities across regulated or high-risk environments
- A strong track record in developing and implementing FM frameworks, policies and processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial capability across contractors, budgets and service delivery
- A calm, pragmatic and collaborative leadership style
- Experience in a healthcare environment will be favourable but not essential
