An established, PE backed healthcare organisation is seeking a National Facilities Manager to lead and mature its facilities function across a complex, multi-site Australian portfolio.

Operating in a highly regulated, patient-facing healthcare environment, the business is continuing to invest in building strong national infrastructure, governance and operational consistency. This newly created role plays a key part in that journey and offers genuine influence at a senior level.

About the Role
Reporting to a senior executive, the National Facilities Manager will take ownership of facilities management across a geographically dispersed portfolio of clinical, laboratory and consulting environments.
  • Leading and supporting state-based Facilities Managers
  • Establishing national FM policies, procedures, standards and governance
  • Rolling out and embedding an asset management framework
  • Overseeing maintenance programs, compliance, fire safety and lifecycle planning
  • Developing and managing contractor and supplier arrangements
  • Providing governance and oversight of minor capital works and refurbishments
  • Acting as a senior escalation point for facilities matters with state leadership
  • Communicating facilities risks and priorities clearly to non-technical stakeholders

About you
  • Experience leading facilities across regulated or high-risk environments
  • A strong track record in developing and implementing FM frameworks, policies and processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercial capability across contractors, budgets and service delivery
  • A calm, pragmatic and collaborative leadership style
  • Experience in a healthcare environment will be favourable but not essential
