The Position

We are seeking an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join a well-established building and construction business based in Coomera on the Gold Coast. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity suited to someone who enjoys supporting a busy team and being the backbone of day-to-day operations. Reporting to senior management, this role will provide general administrative support across the business, ensuring smooth office operations and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in keeping processes running efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • General office administration and day-to-day support
  • Answering and directing phone calls and managing email correspondence
  • Preparing and formatting documents, reports and correspondence
  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Coordinating meetings, diaries and appointments
  • Assisting with compliance documentation and internal processes
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and clients as required
  • Ad hoc administrative support to management and project teams
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an administration or office support role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Construction or building industry experience will be highly regarded but not essential
  • A proactive, reliable and team-oriented approach
