About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional Office Manager to join a global company based in Melbourne’s CBD. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the office. This role requires someone with a proactive mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously to influence outcomes and drive efficiency across the business.

Responsibilities

Reporting to and working closely with Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing and managing the smooth daily operations of the office
  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing office supplies, equipment and facilities maintenance
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for senior staff
  • Supporting event coordination including internal functions and external meetings
  • Maintaining and enhancing office policies, procedures and processes
  • Providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Director where required
  • Assisting with onboarding of new employees and supporting People & Culture initiatives
  • Managing third-party service providers and supplier relationships
  • Ad hoc project coordination and operational support across business functions
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar Office Management or Operations role 
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism at all times
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and office management systems
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • A collaborative team player who also works effectively with minimal supervision
