- Work from home with only 1 day required in the office (Footscray location)
Position Description
Reporting directly into the State Payroll Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the prepartion of fortnightly payroll
- Assist in the resolution of queries
- Process documentation for new starters, redundancies, terminations
- Assist in preparing reconcliations
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have minimum 2 years experience in a similar Payroll Officer position, along with the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
- Motivated and can-do mindset
- Desire to work collaboratively among a supportive team
- Prior experience with Chris 21, Kronos, or in the Healthcare sector is beneficial
- Demonstrated sound understanding of regulatory issues surrounding PAYG, payroll tax, super, workers' comp, salary packaging, and FBT
