About the Company 

The team at Sharp & Carter have multiple Payroll positions with varying clients at different levels. We have a range of fantastic opportunities if you’re looking for a new challenge. These positions will suit motivated Payroll Officers with a minimum 1-year experience who are excited to take the next step in their career.

The Role

  • Accurate and timely processing of a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payroll for employees
  • Processing of new starter and position change paperwork
  • Calculation of termination payments
  • Provide assistance and resolution payroll queries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner
  • Preparation and lodgement of PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
  • Ensuring that all payroll components are costed to the relevant general ledger accounts and reconciled
The Ideal Candidate

  • A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
  • 1 years+ experience in a similar Payroll Officer/Administrator role would be highly desirable
  • Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
