About our Client
Our client is an exciting and fast-growing organisation who boast a close-knit working environment and positive working culture. They are a household name who are recognised on a global scale. Due to restructure, the organisation are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their supportive team on a fixed term contract for 9-12 months.
Duties
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Processing weekly payroll across Australia and New Zealand
- Weekly payrun for 500+ Employees
- Working closely with the Payroll Team Lead to review payroll processes
- Extract data from the Time and Attendance (Kronos)
- Interpretation of complex EA’s and Award
- Working closely with the outsourced payroll vendor
- Trouble shooting payroll queries
- Assisting with process improvements
- Assisting with month end payrun when needed
Successful Applicant
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position
- Large company background experience essential
- Prior experience using Kronos highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team-based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
