The Organisation
Our client is a market leading organisation based in Melbourne's East suburb of Rowville, who are seeking an extremely passionate & highly skilled payroll professional to join their team as soon as possible. The business are going through an exciting growth phase, firmly establishing themselves as an employer of choice and seeking someone to join them during this transformation.

The Responsibilities
The role will report directly though to the Finance Manager, with the duties including the following; however, will not be limited to: 
  • Payroll investigation and working within the back end of payroll.
  • Resolution of payroll related issues in accordance with the relevant EBA.
  • Interpreting differing EBAs and awards
  • Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
  • Assisting the team to work together to achieve common goals to a high standard
  • Partnering with the leadership team to drive process improvements
  • Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
  • Supporting the National Payroll Manager with reports, reconciliations and all payroll compliance duties

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will posses the following skill set, but will not be limited to:
  • Excellent time management and people skills
  • Expertise and a wealth of experience managing high volume pay runs
  • Ability to lead from the front, with collaborative thinking 
  • Is able to commence work immediately 
  • Prior experience utilising workday would be advantageous (however not essential)
