Key responsibilities:
- Establish and lead a fit-for-purpose HR function that is practical, trusted and aligned to service delivery needs
- Improve recruitment and workforce planning processes, including strengthening the casual workforce and enhancing hiring quality
- Drive culture and engagement initiatives and support leaders to follow through on survey insights and action plans
- Build manager capability across employee relations, performance, and decision-making
- Develop simple and effective learning, development and capability frameworks
- Partner with external WHS specialists to uplift safety systems and practices
- Review and refine core policies, documentation, award alignment and foundational HR processes
- Maintain strong visibility across sites, building trust and supporting teams with an approachable and steady leadership style
- Experienced HR professional or people and culture leader with proven impact in service-based environments
- Comfortable working stand-alone while delivering both strategy and hands-on execution
- Warm, relatable and confident, able to influence and coach leaders at all levels
- Pragmatic, proactive and solutions-focused, with a clear ability to build simple and scalable HR frameworks
- Willing to travel across the Perth metro area
- Hybrid working where operationally practical
