A newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to step into a Senior HR Advisor position with a genuine Business Partner scope.

Joining a leading mining organisation with strong growth ahead, you will play a key role in shaping people outcomes across a high-performing site.

This role would suit a confident, relationship-driven HR practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner closely with operational leaders to deliver end-to-end people support across culture, capability, performance, workforce planning, and employee relations. You will have the autonomy to drive meaningful change, influence decision making, and contribute to broader people initiatives across the business.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and coaching to frontline and site leaders
  • Lead workforce planning, development, and organisational capability initiatives
  • Partner on performance management, culture initiatives, and engagement programs
  • Deliver people advice across ER/IR matters, investigations, and incident support
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent management activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and help uplift HR systems, processes, and data capability
  • Champion organisation values and contribute to a positive site culture
About You:

You will be a confident, people-first HR professional with strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence at all levels on site. You bring:
  • Demonstrated HR generalist or HRBP experience within mining, construction, or similar heavy industry
  • Strong capability across ER/IR, coaching, and stakeholder management
  • Experience working in a FIFO or remote operational environment (highly regarded)
  • A proactive style and the ability to build trust quickly
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
